David Hair, M.D. is founder and medical director of the Bakersfield Eye Institute. After training directly under several of the Nation's top eye surgeons, the Garces High School graduate returned to Bakersfield to establish his medical practice. Dr. Hair graduated with honors in biochemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno and went on to earn a medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. Dr. hair remained at Georgetown University to complete his opthalmology residency, where he assisted in ocular and facial reconstruction surgeries for U.S. marines who suffered devastatin wartime injuries. Dr. Hair also served active duty and retired military servicemen and women at Bethesda national naval hospital and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. following his medical internship and opthalmology residency, Dr. Hair participated in the esteemed fellowship in cornea, refractive, and external disease at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. He gained vast experience in refractive surgery, cornea transplantation, and complex cataract surgery.

As long as you like singing why not try dancing also. Right up the street from you Randolph's Lounge has dance lessons from 6:30 to 7:30 pm every Friday and then live music to practice those dance lessons with the Bakersfield Jazz Orchestra from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Dance partners are available if you need one. I perform in the orchestra and it can be a lot of fun. This Friday the 6th they are teaching the RUMBA. Hope to see you there sometime. Introduce yourself to the band!
